BABMOC RECEIVES UNITED METHODIST COMMITTEE ON RELIEF (UMCOR) GRANTS FOR WATER AND SOLAR POWER SYSTEM!

According to Unicef, in of 2017 less than 10 per cent of Liberians had access to safely managed drinking water and sanitation services,  Securing access to safe water and adequate sanitation for all is important in reducing infection, disease, and death.

Over the past few years BABMOC has taken steps to provide our school with clean water.  Following the construction of the water system described below, we extended our well deeper and now have water that meets WHO standards for purity.  Then, early in 2021, we expanded our solar power system with more panels and batteries so that we can now pump water for our school and community consistently.
